세포소기관의학 연구센터는 과학기술정보통신부와 한국연구재단이 2024년부터 지원하는 선도연구센터(MRC·Medical Research Center)로서 세포소기관의학(Organelle Medicine)이라는 새로운 분야를 개척하는 차세대 선도 연구그룹입니다.
생명과학/기초의학/임상의학 분야 핵심인력들이 협력하여 세포소기관 단백체(Proteome), 상호작용체(interactome) 및 신호체(Signalome) 연구와 이를 기반으로 대사 및 노화질환의 창의적 진단·치료 전략 개발을 목표로 노력하고 있습니다.
또한 미래의학을 선도하는 글로벌 기초 의과학자 육성에 매진하고 있습니다.

Organelle Medicine Research Center is a Medical Research Center (MRC) supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) since 2024. We are dedicated to pioneering the emerging field of Organelle Medicine, which focuses on understanding the roles of cellular organelles in health and disease.
Researchers from life sciences, basic medicine, and clinical medicine work together to investigate the organelle proteome, interactome, and signalome. Through these collaborative efforts, we aim to develop innovative diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for metabolic and aging-related diseases.
In addition, the center is committed to nurturing the next generation of global physician-scientists who will lead future advances in biomedical science.
By approaching organelle research with fresh perspectives and interdisciplinary collaboration, we strive to generate impactful discoveries that contribute to healthier lives and the advancement of medical science.
